Find your Focus and Power
A practical workshop to equip your employees with
the necessary tools to minimise pressure in the workplace.
Facilitators: Ana Karakusevic (Holistic Learning) & Pilar Orti (Unusual Connections)
Learning outcomes
By the end of the session, the participants will:
- Gain an understanding of what contributes to work pressure;
- Recognize how external stress factors affect them as individuals;
- Learn practical ways to maintain their own focus in the midst of pressure.
Workshop Programme
- Introduction and methodology
- Identifying tension in the body
Our bodies turn our minds’ stress into tension. If this tension is allowed to accumulate, our bodies
stop working efficiently, which in turn affects our mind. In order to break this cycle, we need to
identify our physical tension and learn to use our bodies more effectively.
- Minimising tension in the body to improve work efficiency
By taking control of how we use our bodies, we learn how to stay focused and relaxed under
pressure. Learning how to use our breath, body and voice helps us in more effective
communication, and ensures we achieve our goals with minimum effort.
- Reducing stress in the workplace
After identifying the main causes of stress in the workplace, we share practical techniques to influence them: both individually and on a team level.
- Debrief and learning
