Coaching: programmes

These are some of the most popular coaching programmes I’ve run so far, for individuals and organisations.  Each programme is tailored to the individual and their organisational and personal needs.  Please contact me for an initial confidential discussion.

For individuals, the programme starts with a free getting-to-know-each-other session, which gives us both a chance to talk in confidence, and explore how we might work together.

For organisations, a coaching programme typically starts with a facilitated 3-way conversation with the client and their manager, to align coaching goals to the desired business goals and impact.  A final 3-way discussion is offered at the end of the programme, or 3 months later, to evaluate how far the initial goals have been met.

Each coaching programme can be supplemented by psychometric questionnaires and/or 360-degree feedback from manager, peer and team members.

For individuals

Coaching for impact: a short sharp coaching programme which focuses on increasing the client’s impact in the world, and aligning it to one’s inner values.  It includes open and confidential feedback, learning by doing, and a series of practical actionable steps.  The suggested duration is up to six hour-long sessions over 3-6 months.

Coaching for transformation: coaching for people who feel at a crossroads in their careers or lives, eg. change of career, mid-career crisis, retraining or redundancy, mothers returning to work, or changing working patterns.  This is a highly-personalised coaching programme, where the focus, duration and success measures are individual and agreed in advance with the client.

Coaching for purpose: an in-depth coaching programme which looks at the client’s aims in life, and strives to align personal values to outward behaviour in the world.  It includes creative tools and techniques for bringing out the best in oneself, and focuses on self-reflection and coach feedback to promote effective decision-making and implementation strategies.

For organisations

First 100 days coaching: intensive coaching support for newly-promoted managers or managers of newly-restructured teams.  The programme includes 10 hours face-to-face, telephone and e-mail support over 100 days.  It can also include a selection of leadership development tools, such as strategy implementation, stakeholder management, advanced communication and networking skills, and others.

Coaching through change: coaching for managers of teams going through significant change or reorganisation.  It starts with a 2-hour session, ideally ahead of implementing the change, and is followed by four hour-long sessions and a final ‘lessons learnt’ 2- hour session.   The programme is spread over the duration of the change implementation process (typically between 6 and 12 months).  It can be augmented by team coaching and team meeting facilitation skills.  The final evaluation can be linked to a formal Post Implementation Review session for the whole team.

Coaching for excellence: a programme designed to unlock the potential of clients identified in organisational succession planning.  It is tailor-made to the individual and their organisational needs, and focuses on agreed areas of development: these can include delegating, decision-making, change management, strategy implementation, effective communication, networking skills, etc.  Typically it includes six sessions of an hour or an hour-and-a-half duration each.  It can be linked to the annual performance review.

Ana is an accomplished coach, and I really liked her flexible style. She asks extremely thought-provoking questions, and when I didn't have the words, has me draw it out instead! It worked very well, and now not only do I know where I need to focus professionally, and I can picture it. Very powerful.
